Having done woodwork through my high school career I grew a strong passion for wood and the idea of building weird and wonderful things. I was never one for academics so the woodwork classroom became my happy place where I just felt at ease. After school I chose to focus more on sport and got my diploma in Sports Management and later did canoeing professionally for a number of years before I turned back to wood work.

That is where Cape Custom Furniture was born. I have always loved the saying ‘Choose a job you love and you will never work a another day in your life’. I follow true to this as every day I walk in to my factory I get excited about the tasks ahead and building our clients dream furniture. I find working with wood rather therapeutic and really enjoy going over and beyond for my clients.
